Task Force Status: Reviewing state regulations, working to develop a fact sheet, and networking with related organizations to expand advocacy efforts. Submitted Credentialing Review Program Application through the Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Public Health. Music Therapy Technical Review Committee appointed by the state and held first meeting (04/12). Task force responded to multiple requests for information, ultimately deciding to pull the application. Task force is currently building connections and support from state legislators to pursue recognition or alternative solutions to increase services for clients, including the return of state supported funding within the schools.
