Task Force Status: The task force hosted an Advocacy Breakfast during the 2015 MAR Regional Conference in Ocean City. In fall 2015, 15 Minutes of Advocacy Letter writing campaign geared towards state legislators was completed. An advocacy training titled “NEXT STEP ADVOCACY FOR MUSIC THERAPISTS” was held in 2016 to provide support and guidance for music therapists and students currently engaging in educating state legislators about music therapy in Maryland and the desire for state recognition.
